2014 World Cup Soccer Game Times


The kickoff times for the 2015 World Cup Soccer games in Brazil will be quite favorable to North American viewers.

In the group stage matches of World Cup 2014, the games will kick off at Noon, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm ET. The quarter-final matches will kick off at Noon and 4pm ET. The semi-finals will begin at 4pm ET, while the final will kick off at 3pm ET.
All matches for 2014 World Cup will be televised in the United States by ESPN. FOX Soccer has the rights for the 2018 and 2022 World Cup tournaments.

FIFA has revealed the mascot for the 2014 World Cup - a fun loving armadillo representing the host country, Brazil.

The armadillo, stylized with the Brazilian colors of green, yellow and blue, doesn't have a name yet but a contest will allows fans to vote onAmijubi, Fuleco or Zuzeco as the little guy's name.
The indigenous Brazilian animal is endangered and Brazil wants to raise awareness about the real life creature but also focus on environment and ecology.
